Your notebook.
Your choice.

Glazeloom keeps pottery notes on your device. We explain below when information stays local, when you choose to share it, and what happens when you contact us or visit this website.

Your notes, photos and drafts

The app stores pieces, notes, photos and feedback drafts locally on your device. It does not include advertising, analytics SDKs or a developer notebook-upload service. We cannot browse your notebook remotely. Your device’s system backups may include app data according to your device settings.

Optional backups and sharing

Automatic backup writes a notebook copy to a folder you choose. iCloud Drive or another Files provider may upload and store that file under its own terms and privacy policy. Device and notebook identifiers separate backup filenames; they are not used for analytics.

Turning automatic backup off stops future writes. Existing files remain in the selected folder until you delete them. Exporting or sharing sends a file only when you choose the action and destination. Live cross-device notebook sync is not enabled.

Optional Apple Watch companion

If you enable Apple Watch sharing, Glazeloom sends a bounded, read-only preview of recent piece notes to your paired Apple Watch using Apple’s Watch Connectivity. Photos and drafts are excluded. The Watch stores a local copy for offline reading and shows when it was updated. This transfer does not use a developer server.

Sharing is off by default. Turning it off queues removal of the saved Watch copy; removal completes when the paired devices connect and the Watch receives the update. It does not delete your phone notebook.

Apple purchases

Apple processes purchases and payment information. Glazeloom uses StoreKit to check verified purchase entitlements and provide access to the purchased features. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple handles its account and payment data under its own privacy policy.

Support and feedback

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to include. We use them to answer your request and resolve issues. Notes and photos are not attached automatically to feedback messages.

We process support information to provide assistance related to the service (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), or under our legitimate interest in responding to general enquiries and improving reliability (Article 6(1)(f)). Where a legal obligation applies, Article 6(1)(c) is the basis. Do not include sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.

Support correspondence is normally retained for up to 24 months after the last exchange, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. You may ask us to delete it sooner.

Visiting this website

The website does not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, account registration or contact forms. Our hosting and delivery providers, including Sites and Cloudflare, process technical request information such as IP addresses and request headers to serve the pages and protect their services. Any provider security mechanisms operate under the provider’s policies; we do not use them to build advertising profiles.

Necessary delivery and security processing is based on our legitimate interest in operating a reliable website (Article 6(1)(f)). Service providers may process information outside the European Economic Area using applicable safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses where required.

Who receives information

Information you send to support is accessible to the team and service providers needed to deliver and manage correspondence. Website providers receive the technical information needed to deliver requests. Apple and your chosen file or sharing provider separately process information when you use their services. We do not sell your personal information.

Your controls and rights

You can edit or delete pieces in the app, clear feedback drafts, stop automatic backups and delete exported files through Files. Deleting the app removes the local notebook; system or exported backups may remain. Back up anything you want to keep first.

Where the GDPR applies, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Rights depend on the circumstances and the information we actually hold. Contact support@glazeloom.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, including Poland’s President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and show the revised effective date. Material app changes will be reflected in the app’s privacy information.
